The joy of commitment

December 25, 2011 - 23:16 -- Dr. Ada

Diving board

At the beginning of 2011 I made a commitment to myself. The commitment was to consistently write two blog entries a week. Before then, I was writing, but not consistently. I have always liked writing, but have to confess that I was a bit scared to make that commitment.

You see, in my mind, if I HAD to write 2 blogs a week, all kind of “bad things” could happen: Continue reading »

The Gift

December 23, 2011 - 20:43 -- Dr. Ada
Mother And Child

This is the place where
everything begins again.
Here you can find the gift
that heaven left, in the stable.

The first tentative breath
of the Breath of life,
announcing with a wailing
that God is here on earth.

The wordless Word incarnate

El Regalo

December 21, 2011 - 15:53 -- Dr. Ada
Mother And Child

Este es el lugar donde
todo comienza de nuevo.
Aquí es donde se encuentra
el regalo que el cielo dejó,
en el establo.

El primer aliento vacilante
del que es Aliento de tu vida,
anunciando con su llanto
del Dios Santo la venida.

El mudo Verbo encarnado,
quien habló y trajo a la vida,
ahora busca, agarra, mama,
y encuentra su vida en María.

Pen, Diary and Glasses

Most business owners and entrepreneurs know that designing a business plan is the smart thing to do. They know if you want to reach a destination, you need a map. They know being proactive instead of reactive needs their own plan.

Yet, those same smart people often overlook the importance of including personal development in their new year’s plan. Continue reading »

Let’s do it!

December 16, 2011 - 12:55 -- Dr. Ada

See Ya!

In my last post I wrote about the importance of stop trying to change and instead making a 100% commitment to do change. Hope without action is fruitless. Today I have a message of action for you: Let’s do it!

This message is for those of you who are worried about how things will turn out for you in the new year if you don’t make that change you need. It’s a message for those of you who are sick of trying to implement a desired change only to fail time and again. It’s a message for those of you who realize that, both in your personal and your professional life, you deserve to thrive! Continue reading »
